RN (Full time/ Part time)
Administer high quality donor care in compliance with Code
of Federal Regs., Blood Service Directives, and SOP manual. Travel the state
with mobile collection units doing venipunctures, health history interviews,
donor care and related duties. Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing,
registered nurse license to practice in CT. One-year clinical experience
preferred.
Hours: Full-time 37.5hrs/wk & Part-time 22.5hrs/wk. Hiring
Rate: $21.86/hr.

Donor Health SPECIALIST I
Notifies, educates and counsels blood donors, partners or
family regarding blood transmissible infectious agents. Coordinates donor
notification functions within the region. Investigates and educates donors
involved in cases of suspected post-transfusion infection and disease,
including the reporting of these cases in accordance with ARCBS directives,
FDA, and local policies and practices. May include investigational lookback
cases, as well as reporting of these cases in accordance with ARCBS
directives, FDA and local policies and procedures. Graduate of accredited
LPN School with current CT license preferred or related equivalent
education/training. Two to three years work experience in hospital,
laboratory, family guidance or sexually transmitted disease clinic setting.
Specific training in health education, counseling, crisis intervention,
phlebotomy or patient education, or equivalent.
Hours: Full-time 37.5hrs/wk. Hiring Range: $28,300 -
$37,900/yr.

ACCOUNT
REPRESENTATIVE - glastonbury regional officeS
Plans and implements effective strategies to recruit and
retain donor groups to sponsor blood collection operations to achieve
established goals and strategies to meet program needs. Develops potential
leads, training coordinators in organizational requirements, providing
ongoing support to donor groups and implementing appropriate special donor
recruitment programs and providing follow-up record keeping and recognition.
Position is based out of the Glastonbury Regional office. Bachelor’s degree
in Marketing, Sales, Communications or related field or equivalent; one to
two years experience with direct sales. Knowledge of group dynamics, point
of purchase/customer maintenance sales techniques and negotiation skills and
ability to effectively implement this knowledge base. Effective
communication skills, ability to do group presentations needed.
Hours: Full-time 37.5 hrs/wk. Hiring Range: Low to Mid 30s
based on experience plus bonus potential.

ACCOUNT

Offices with assigned territories throughout the state. Bachelor’s degree in
Marketing, Sales, Communications or related field or equivalent; one to two
years experience with direct sales. Knowledge of group dynamics, point of
purchase/customer maintenance sales techniques and negotiation skills and
ability to effectively implement this knowledge base. Effective
communication skills, ability to do group presentations needed.
Hours: Full-time 37.5 hrs/wk. Hiring Range: Low to Mid 30s
based on experience plus bonus potential.

Communications Specialist
Provide and coordinate communication support components
(e.g. writing, graphics, design, and layout) in a cost-effective manner to
enhance public relations and donor recruitment efforts and the
organization’s image in support of organizational goals. Assist in the
design and development of campaign materials. Participate in short and long
range public relations and communications projects, activities and
strategies. Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications or related
field preferred or equivalent experience required. Two to three years
experience in Public Relations or Communications. Must have demonstrated
ability to utilize PC (non-MACS) based computer systems (Adobe PageMaker,
Illustrator and Photoshop) to design and layout graphics projects.
Hours: Part-time 22.5hrs/wk. Hiring Range: $15.89 -
$20.86/hr.

Materials/Accounts Receivable Specialist
Performs a variety of duties involving the receipt,
storage, procurement, distribution of materials, stock, supplies and special
items related to blood collection operations. Acts as a back-up to Warehouse
Supervisor. Assists in regional accounts receivable activities. Reconciles
customer accounts using data contained in Oracle/CFS. Interfaces with the
Shared Services Center for financial queries and problem resolution.
Organizes and maintains confidential and sensitive financial information.
High School graduate. Associates degree preferred. Two plus years experience
with accounting systems (Oracle experience a plus). Ability to successfully
multitask major responsibilities and ad-hoc projects. Knowledge of material
management operations, inventory procedures, and general office procedures
and practices. Experience in MS Office software (MS Word, MS Excel, MS
PowerPoint, and MS Access).
Hours: Full-time 37.5 hrs/wk Hiring Range: $11.57 to
$14.46/hr.

Administrative Assistant II
Performs a variety of standard, advanced and confidential
secretarial and administrative duties. Drafts memoranda and prepares
correspondence, reports and memoranda. Creates and maintains computer-based
and paper files. Answers and screens telephone calls, and opens and
distributes mail for department or unit. High school diploma and two to five
years related work experience. Proficient in word processing programs
(Microsoft Office), Word, Excel, Power Point. Proficiency in MS Access is a
requirement. Familiarity with basic office machines.
Hours: Full-time 37.5/wk Hiring Range: $11.57 to $14.46
